Post Access Web Service From NXT
My awesome wife bought me a Mindstorms NXT kit for Christmas a couple of years ago. Well, I tinkered with it on and off but haven't ever really created anything useful with it.

What I am curious about is if I can setup the NXT to read / write data via a web service? I have the Dexter Wifi module for connectivity. I also have the Dexter GPS module.

What I am trying to be able to do is to send commands to the NXT via a web app and get back the sensor data from the NXT using the same web app.

Ideally, I would have a web-based app that will allow me to enter commands and/or coordinates that would be entered into a database.
The NXT would make a web service request (if this is possible) and retrieve the command. It would then execute this command.
It would also constantly respond with current sensor data (Sonar sensor, GPS sensor, etc.)

Is any of this possible?

Sure, it's possible, but won't be trivial. Take a look at the examples in my driver suite to find out how to talk to the dWiFi. You can find it here:
