I am new to robotC. In uni we have a competition, of making a sumo robot, which will fight against other robots.

When i was seeing the tutorials, it says motor[motorA]=127;

what does this means. shouldn't the maximum power of motorA supposed to be 100.

Lastly, does anyone know where to get some good tutorials on robotC.

I believe you are looking at the VEX documents/tutorials. VEX uses 127 and -127 for motor power levels.

For tutorials, you can try the Software Training guide which you can access from the main page of www.robotc.net, or the quickstart guide which contains a vast library of sample programs.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!
