Post IR receiver and Power Functions remote?
I have the HiTechnic IR Receiver and a Power Functions remote, and I'd like to know how to program a robot so that the Power Functions remote can control separate motors. I have the driver for the IR Receiver and have tried writing a program where the raw value is displayed on the screen. However, the number does not change as I use the remote. I have used the code with a touch sensor and the value changed, so I know I did something right. Help please?

Ensure you are transmitting on the same channel as your program is expecting the commands to be sent on.

I am sorry, but how would I do that? I mean I know how to switch the channels on the remote but how do I set the program to expect a certain channel? Could you direct me to a place that shows how to configure the IR receiver?

Nevermind. I found your example and worked from there.
