Post Battery question
Hi there,

I just have one simple question: is it possible to keep the NXT run forever when the battery charger is plugged in, or does it have to be off in order to load?

thx, DiMastero

Post Re: Battery question
It should run just fine, unless the motors are under constant heavy load.

Post Re: Battery question
Hi,

I had a robotics exhibit running at a museum all summer with several NXTs running continuously (24 hrs/day) while plugged in. They were not extremely loaded, but everything ran fine for 3 months. They were running on the older style Lithium-Ion battery packs (#1678 / 1400 mAh) and I really have not yet addressed any possible battery problems due to having them plugged in for so long. Don't expect to see any issues since Lithium-Ion packs don't have much in the way of memory issues. I'll post back when I get a chance to assess everything.

Chris
