 Nxt flash memory
I have a program that works for a couple of weeks and then that same program suddenly stops functioning properly. I have "solved" the issue before but did not know what the cause was. I am working on a PID line follower using raw colour sensor data of two sensors. This program was working extremely well but suddenly, the robot started suddenly stopping and going forward in the program. After debugging it, i found that the program was still working and the motor power variables were still being calculated and were changing. Yet, the motors were not working. This is not making any sense to me. Could this be because of the large amount of variables I have in the program (the program is also made for other purposes)? Could the declaration of variables in the form "type var = value" be insufficient?
thanks

 Re: Nxt flash memory
Without actually seeing the program, it is hard to say what could be the cause. The program will simply fail to compile if you're exceeding the memory space of the NXT.
I am pretty sure the cause lies elsewhere.
