Post NXT2WiFi getting started
Hello:

I am currently going through the NXT2WiFi getting started manual. I have so far successfully updated the firmware and activated the sensor. The manual talks about a N2W_setup.c program file, but I cannot find it. The router is now using WPA2 AES encryption but I cannot get the sensor to connect. Also, when I use the laptop to connect to the sensor is there a certain program that needs to be running on the NXT to receive key presses from the index webpage that is on the sensor.

Mike,

Hey there,

That program has not been created yet :) I am currently working very hard to debug the driver. There are some RS485 issues at the moment that stop it from working properly. The good news is it compiles just fine, but that's not going to help you talk to something on the Net.

Here's what my desk looked like last night after spending most the day debugging stuff:

I have two NXT2WIFIs, but one of them is an old model and the other a new one (it has flash for a website, the old does not). However, the daughterboard of the new one got damaged during shipping (the battery won't charge), so I had to do a brain transplant. Now I have a new OpenPicus brain on an old NXT2WIFI daughterboard :) The black square with the green light is a Saleae Logic16 logic analyser.

So yeah, I'm working on it!
