We programmed the tetrix Servo motor to open and close a claw. The claw servo won't turn even though the code and the motors and sensors set up is correct. We want to use the Logitech buttons [1&3] to open and close the claw. Even though we hard-wired in the code to open to a certain angle without the remote, it still won't move! Our competition is tomorrow and the main function isn't working. The claw is our only scoring mechanism. We need an answer ASAP! The code is attached below. We are using RobotC for NXT 2.61 Beta.

I have just tested the code you provided in ROBOTC 2.61 and only came across one error; the #include "JoystickDriver.c" line was incorrectly typed as #include ("JoystickDriver.c");

If you cannot move the servo with a basic segment of code:



then there may be a problem with the wiring. Double check the wires for the battery, make sure the servo controller is plugged in and turned on (and has the red light), the servo is plugged in the correct way an in the correct port, that the servo controller is plugged fully into the motor controller and the motor controller is fully plugged into the NXT's S1 port, that the motor controller is getting battery power, and finally that the servo isn't physically binding on the robot somehow.

As always, double check to make sure the battery is fully charged, too. Keep us posted on this and we'll help as much as we can.
