 WiFi issues
So, our FTC team(Construction Zone 6933) recently got it's Tetrix base kit and Samantha module. I have it connected to the internet, and I can go into it's status page. But when I try to connect it to RobotC, it says the NXT is unavailable. Help please!!

 Re: WiFi issues
Ok. Let me warn you: Your pains with the Samantha module have just begun The official resources are all here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/ftc/samanthaOf particular interest to you might be the status lights. https://sites.google.com/site/ftcsamoledcodes/Could you describe what the status lights are doing right now? Also, you may need to press the little red button on top before connecting. Also, you technically aren't connecting to the internet, you're connecting to a local network

 Re: WiFi issues
Haha, I've heard that Samantha has issues...
As of right now, the blue light is solid with an occasional blink(every 4 seconds). The white light is blinking steady, and the red light is solid. The NXT says that it is connected via BT(to Samantha).
And I knew about the "network" part. Thanks for telling me though.

 Re: WiFi issues
Hmmmm. Seems like everything is good. Are you connecting with "Robot->NXT Brick->Communication Link Setup"? Does the Samantha start flashing all three lights (in sequence) when you try to connect?

 Re: WiFi issues
Yes, that's how I'm trying to connect. And no, it flashes the lights exactly the same as before.

 Re: WiFi issues
As noted above, getting the wireless on an NXT to work properly (whether wifi or Bluetooth) can be a bit tricky. Because of this, we created a 'Getting Started with the Samantha Module" guide on the ROBOTC wiki: http://www.robotc.net/wiki/TETRIX_Samantha_ModuleTake a look through that, follow all of the steps, and please let us know if that solves the problem (and what the problem was, if possible). If you continue to experience issues with the setup, let us know and we'll be more than happy to assist you further.

 Re: WiFi issues
I have it to where I can control the robot via my Samantha Field Control software, but not RobotC. This makes no sense, but at least I'm gaining.

 Re: WiFi issues
Double check these two steps as they are a likely cause of this issue in ROBOTC:

 Re: WiFi issues
When you select the Samantha, you're using "Select via WiFi", correct?

 Re: WiFi issues
I don't even get that far. When I search for "USB or WiFi", or "USB, Bluetooth or WiFi" it gives me the error that I posted up ^^ there, and then displays the NXT as "Not Available". It gets the name and I.P. address correct, but the NXT is unavailable. If I then click on "Select via WiFi", it the gives me the "No 'NXT' bricks could be opened" error. So confusing!

 Re: WiFi issues
Ok. When it gives you that error, press the red button on top of the Samantha (or have you tried that already?). Then try connecting via WiFi. Does that work?

 Re: WiFi issues
Could you post a screenshot of your "Communication Link Setup" window? Thanks.
