Post monitoring event and catch
I want to use conditional variable, but RobotC only provides 'semaphore'. Thus I would try to code a conditional variable. Then I found the information about using event.
Thus, I searched the information about it.

However, it does not work in RobotC 3.6.2.
I use the code ,"Sample Program to Demonstrate Events".
I think that code should be work on event "kTimerEvent2" not Kuserevent1, not fixing some value to execute "SignalEvent".

Not only this, but I use the other codes in web (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=621&view=print).

The both cases can not catch the event. Therefore, I think monitor and catch do not work anymore. (Also wiki (API explanation) do not have any information about monitor, catch.

Please tell me whether robotc does not support event-monitoring and event-catching or not.

The posts you are referencing are from 2007/2008. ROBOTC does not currently support events/interrupt/function callbacks. Back in the RCX days (and early NXT days), it had a very basic implementation, but with the platform of today (EV3/NXT/VEX Cortex/VEX IQ) it does not support.
