Post IR RC5code detection
Hi,

What I want to do : to decode the RC5 IR signal from our TV remote controls.
Did it already with a ATMega128 from Atmel.
Connecting a TSOP1736 to a port and treat it like a touch sensor should work ?
But the problem is the timebase of the timers
Period of the signal is 1.778ms.
For my algorithm, i need a timebase of 3/4 of that period.

Are there intentions to equip the timers with variable timebases ?

Kind Regards

The limitation of the NXT is to keep a 1ms timer. Getting any more precise (3/4th of 1.776ms) is not possible with any programming implementation with the NXT, to my knowledge.

There is no intention to change the 1ms timers in ROBOTC to something more precise.
