Post Joystick Stuck at 127
Hi all! We're a rookie team having some on-again, off-again problems with programming our joystick. When we run our code or the sample code for the joystick and view it in the debugger window when running, our left controller never goes back to center (even though we can clearly see that it is in the center) and the value remains stuck at 127. The "configure Joystick" also shows it stuck at 127, although we can refresh and get it back to 0 in this window (although doesn't change in debugger window).

We're running Robotc 4.27 with Virtual Worlds, and we have checked our joystick and it's set at D and the dual mode is off, i.e. no green light.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Robin

Could it be a broken joystick? Do you have another one you could try it with? Or maybe it's a calibration issue, and you need to run calibration for your controller.

Thanks for the response. Yes, we've tried with two different joysticks and get the same problem. The crux is that sometimes it works just fine . . . like for the past few days. Then, all of a sudden, like today, it's stuck again.

How do you calibrate the controller?

Thanks,

Miracle Makers

We were able to go in and reset the configuration of the joystick and got it back to 0. We'll just need to track when it happens since it seems to be intermittent.

Thanks.
