Post Code d/l to robot only works from RobotC, not Graphical
I am working in a school and am trying to get a clawbot working in a classroom for some students.

Currently, I can open sample programs in RobotC, download them to the robot, and they work fine with/without the USB-to-USB cable attached. This is achieved also by selecting the 'RVW CLAWBOT' as the option under the Motors and Sensor Setup.

Whenever I open the Graphical RobotC program (as the students use this) - the Motors and Sensor Setup defaults itself to 'SQUAREBOT' and even if I change it to 'RVW CLAWBOT' it doesn't work. I download the sample program to the robot no problem at all, however the code either doesn't run or something goes wrong as the robot doesn't move. In some instances the code seems to start as the wheels turn for a quarter of a second before stopping, but nothing else happens.

Can anyone shed some light on this as it is driving me up the wall!

I have found that by opening RobotC (not graphical) and changing the editor type to graphical within this program, I am able to download the program successfully to the robot and get it to work.

Bit of a workaround but might be useful to someone...
