I started using RobotC this past year. Last week, I purchased the programming hardware kit http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexedr/produ ... -2186.html
and did some experimental debugging.
Someone asked about debugging on the VEX Forum http://www.vexforum.com/index.php/18148 ... -in-robotc and I added my question but no one has answered yet.
My question is - in RobotC - can I set breakpoints and go to the breakpoint and step through the code one line at a time and check the value(s) in the variables as I step through each line (similar to a Microsoft Visual Studio IDE)?

Of course! Check the debugger windows under 'Robot' from the main drop-down menu.
In order to add a break point, just right-click on the gray bar to the left of your (text-based) code. Keep in mind that any commands that start motors will continue to run those motors during a break.
