I am a student at California university of PA and I am trying to get my schools robot to compile and download the program I have written for out competition this wednesday. I am getting error messages on 3 different computer that the Robotc program cannot connect. My robot is on, I have turned the robot on and off, and I have the usb to serial cable. It wont even communicate so I can check/update the firmware. Everything i have found on the main site is with a different type of cable and main control box. this is what I have, and I need to get one of these pc's to work, so we can have our program. Please help me!

my professor forgot to inform me that I am to run ours off the older .5 version, not the newer version... we need an upgrade! but now I need help with my program.
