I want to do some debugging where it would be useful to have a programmable analog output (DAC) – the output of the DAC would be displayed on an oscilloscope. I don’t think the motor outputs are suitable for my purpose. The Cortex has a “speaker port” which probably has the hardware capability that I need, but there does not seem to be a way to program the DAC output of the speaker port directly. Does anyone know how to do this?
I do not want to play music or sound files.

Motor ports 1 and 10 on the cortex are for connection of DC motors directly and would work will for connection of your scope. Motor ports 2 through 9 are PWM outputs which a motor controller would give you an analog output.
