Post RobotC 4 crash
I have been using RobotC 4 for VEX Cortex for a while with no problems.
I recently loaded RobotC 4 for the Mindstorms EV3.
Now I cannot send a file to the Cortex.
After RobotC launches, I select VEX 2.0 from the Platform type.
I then select USB ONLY from the Communications Type.
I Manually update Master CPU firmware to 4.22.
I get FIRMWARE FOR VEX CORTEX MASTER CPU WAS DOWNLOADED SUCCESSFULLY
Then I update the RobotC firmware to 1008.
I get ROBOTC FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD WAS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY
I compile my program.
I get FILE... compiled...
I then click DOWNLOAD TO ROBOT
The response is FAILED TO SET PROPERTY VALUE FOR 'nNextCortexCommType' to '2'
Clicking OK leads to
FAILED TO VERIFY THE COMMUNICATION LINK TO A VEX CORTEX CONTROLLER OR VEXNET JOYSTICK.

Since my code did not go I tried a new much shorter program that did not go either
