I am new to the world of robotics and just recently started using Robotc. I have successfully written and ran my programs but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to switch the controls back to the controller. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you want to put the original remote control code back onto the Cortex? There are two ways to do this; you can either find the standard remote control program (that comes preprogrammed on the Cortex) in the 'Advanced -> ROBOTC VEX Cortex Default.c' sample program file.
Alternatively, you can also use the VEXNet Firmware Update Utility to reload the standard VEX Firmware and remote control program back onto the Cortex. This will revert the Cortex to an 'out-of-the-box' state, but will require you to go through the setup process in order to make the Cortex ROBOTC-ready in the future.
