Post Use of Joystick in a class of RobotC
I am interested in buying a few joysticks for the class I teach in RobotC. Any suggestions as to which model I should get?

Thanks, John

Vu,

For the NXT. There are so many products that one gets confused.

Thanks, John

The Logitech Gaming Controller is the one that FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) uses so you could take a look at those.

As far as I know, since the joysticks are plugged into the laptop/PC and their activaties transmitted to the NXT through Bluetooth or USB connection (or WiFi through the Samantha module), any HID compliant joysticks would work. I have been using both the Logitech joysticks picked by FIRST and the XBox game controllers without any issues. I especially like the xbox controller because I am using the wireless module so the controller doesn't need to tether to the laptop.
