Post Programming Language Question
Hello. I am a complete novice so please keep this in mind as you read my question. I am a teacher and would like to integrate programming into one of my classes and I love this website and program. But we have already bought the GEARSEDS product. My questions is is the ROBOTC programming language the same as the C programming language used at the machinescience.org website? If not, how much do they differ? Thanks!

Post Re: Programming Language Question
I'm not too familiar with the machinescience software, but from what I gather from the few minutes I looked at it I would say that it is very similar. Our software is C-based just like that one. Though ROBOTC has been ported to more robotics platforms, and also has a lot more features in terms of both functions/behaviors you can program as well as functions within the programming software (called the IDE or Integrated Development Environment).
