Did you configure the sensor as a RFID sensor?

Your code should resemble something like this:
Code:
#pragma config(Sensor, S1,     RFIDSNSR,            sensorI2CodatexRFID)
//*!!Code automatically generated by 'ROBOTC' configuration wizard               !!*//

task main () {
  while (true) {
    nxtDisplayCenteredBigTextLine(2, "%d", SensorValue[RFIDSNSR]);
    wait1Msec(50);
  }
}

Note that I don't have an RFID sensor, so I can't test this.

no that doesnt work. I tried. It just has a number counting up. My FTC team is going to try and develop a driver for it but all help is appreciated. For starters do you know of a website that explains I2C well and a tutorial on using it in robotc.

Monks,

No tutorial, but I do know that the RFID sensor is extremely finicky and from what I hear from people who have programmed with it is that you'll have to fiddle a lot with it to make it work. It comes down to getting the timing right and all that fun stuff.

You might want to check out http://carrot.whitman.edu/Robots/notes.pdf, perhaps there is some useful info there.
