Will it be possible to read the Android sensors using BTsense.
(see:http://www.mindsensors.com/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=197&MMN_position=33:33) in RobotC for the EV3?
(BTsense connects via Bluetooth.)

Phones and tablets have a HUGE amount of nice (and fairly fast) sensors. Some of which could be hard to get (or impossible) for the EV3.

Imagine building a bot, and (maybe velcro tape) a Android phone or small tablet to the bot. Bluetooth the Android sensors to the EV3. Instant compass, g-sensing and even more data for the bot! (A used Android phone without a phone connection would work just fine.)

Since I BELIEVE multiple Bluetooth "streams" are possible a connection to the PC could still be kept going.
(If not a Wifi connection should still work.)

Thanks! :D

Yes, I have plans to create a ROBOTC side of this, but I have not had time yet :) I have the comms specs and all that stuff.

I have been way too busy with a LOT of other stuff and have not done any work on this. Sorry :(

Hi! I was trying to get the EV3 gyro sensor to know when the robot is climbing a ramp, however, gyro sensor only measures gyro, but not detects the axis (x, y and z). I found that I can use my phone as accelerometer with BTsense.
Can I get the EV3 gyro sensor to detect the axis? if not, is there any advance in the drivers that Xander was developing?
Thanks in advance!
