By the way, there are a few postings about using NXTCam on Rescue Game. You may need to search on robocup or rcj to find them. You will find good discussions on programming color sensor + mindsensor Cam with RobotC....

I also wrote to the Technical Committee to request Robot-to-Robot communication on the soccer game in order to do ball negotiation as well. RobotC is pretty easy to use for these fun tasks.

Our students will pursue ball negotiation between robots using bluetooth with RobotC later this year after the rcj game, as it is not allowed in the RCJ/soccer. This should be pretty interesting.

I wonder if anyone has experience in bi-directional communication between nxts using robotc. Our initial experience is that too much lag time... And, as a result of no full-duplex, it yields less desirable performance! Any suggestion as how to tackle this?

We have packed as much as needed information via bits operation in every single packet... In other words, we have tried to minimize the size of each packet by :
- using bits size information
- with maximized amount of need information in each packet.
