Post PID control with Neverest motors? + A bonus question
My team has got these Neverest motors, and we've been using them for about a month.

Trying to program the PID into them and I'm running into a wall, the PID just wont activate. I just tried adding the nMotorPIDSpeedCtrl[Left] = mtrSpeedReg; into the function that moves forward, but I'm not sure. It seemed to break the function, causing it to run forever. I can't find any tutorials for the PID on DC/Neverest motors with encoders on them.

It's checked in the motor set up and there is a more detailed section too, PID Settings, but I have that set to the "std values."


Bonus question:

The encoders I did get to work, but whenever they stop, like when a value is reached, both motors will shut off as they should. But then one motor always tries to keep going. It's not enough power to go anywhere, but I can hear it straining for an additional half second after the value is reached. I do have a 1 second wait between all of my functions/actions, but I don't see how that could be causing it. Any idea on why this is?
