Post Help Getting Started - New Team First Year
We are having trouble getting our robot to run a program. Wcan't even get the test programs to run. This is getting very frustrating and time is now running short. We have the ROBOTC program loaded and we can see the controller buttons and joystick controls seem to be working okay but no movement on any motor or servo.

How do you know which servo or motor is which?

Ok, this sounds like what we were doing and it turns out we were making some care-less errors. Try these.

1. When you download and run the code, hit "Start" on your screen in the center dialog box. This will really start the program. :D. Ik, noob mistake.

2. Make sure your motor controller is plugged into the corresponding *SENSOR* port, which are located at the bottom of the NXT device.

3. Make sure all of your equipment is properly wired. IE, daisy chained, motor output to motor, etc. etc.

4. Check to make sure that your second battery is wired up to the motor controllers and then wired out to any attached servo/motor controller.

4a. Make sure the switch is turned on.

4b. Make sure the battery is charged.

If all this fails, make sure you have a genuine connect with the NXT you are running, whether the connection be with the USB or the Bluetooth Dongle.

Let me/us know if this works or if it doesn't.
