Post subject:  Robot becomes unresponsive

Our robot becomes unresponsive during play.

When the mode button is pressed, the only motors that function are the lego motors.

I have attached a wiring diagram and the teleop code.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

At a glance, it appears that you have Sensor Port 1 assigned to the Motor Controller chain, but have physically plugged the IR sensor into Port 1 instead. Double check the wiring on the robot and make sure it matches the setup in ROBOTC (or modify the ROBOTC setup via the Motors and Sensors Setup window, under the Robot menu) and see if that solves the issue for you.

Doh! I see that I posted the wrong wiring diagram. Attached is what we are currently using.

What I thought about in the rewire was to spread the drive motors out over four controllers, and the sides out over two ports. Hopefully, we could still drive if we lost a port or a controller.
