Do we need the orange USB to serial cable to use the debugger in RobotC? I think our hub is going to supply us with a black USB cable that can be used to download programs.

The debugger works both over VEXnet and the USB A-to-A cable!

Just keep in mind that the orange USB-to-Serial cable + VEXnet Joystick enables wireless debugging, while the USB A-to-A cable will only provide debugging information while the robot is physically attached to the computer.
