Post Sharing VW Level Builder Models
I cannot find a way to share VW models created with Level Builder. When I browse the directory the .xml file was saved to, the file is not visible, yet I can load the file from within Level Builder. I'm interesting in building models for use by multiple students.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. If you save your levels in the default folder, when you're in CREATE/BUILD mode, you can go to "File > Open Levels Folder":

Doing so will open a folder with all of the built in levels, and the ones you've created. From there you should be able to copy them and share them with students.

Let me know if this helps!

Jesse Flot,

Thanks, but my created files don't show when I use "Open Levels Folder" but they do show when I choose "File/Open". In both cases, the path appears to be the same. Perhaps the problem exists because I'm still running the trial version of Robot Virtual Worlds, or because my RobotC trial period has expired. I'm volunteering at a school, but I don't have access to the classroom licenses. I just want to verify that sharing is possible before buying my own licenses.

The default files directory is located in C:\Program Files\Robomatter Inc\ROBOTC Development Environment\RVW. Make sure that you have permissions on the computer to write to the C:\Program Files drive, as that may be causing them to not show up.

Jesse Flot,

Thanks, again. Lack of write permission was the problem (even though this is my computer, and I am the only user & administrator, and I'm using default Windows 7 permissions). Nevertheless, I can successfully read - write - share by saving models to other than the default folder. That works for me. Thanks.
