What is expected behaviour for NXT robot in RVW by doing the following:

motor[motorB] = 100;
motor[motorC] = -100;

My assumption is that the robot will turn round as so its vertical axis that located between the wheels will not move.
But I see that the robot performs some additional movement - it seems that another axis is used - the geometrical axis of the robot.

Could you advise?

Hi Koal,
The geometric axis of rotation for Rembot in RVW appears to coincide at the Sonar. So your program will result the pivot of axle for the wheels also to go round in circles.

However if you require a more accurate pivot for rotation use the BuggyBot or MammalBot. They have the center of rotation right at the center of the robot.

I imagine that you already know this, but the latest couple of RVW builds allow you to see the robot configurations. This is very helpful when figuring out how to program the motors. Some of the models have their motors reflected and some of them have the motors going in the same direction.

At least that's what I remember.
