sonarSensor with Gripperbot

Post sonarSensor with Gripperbot
Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I can't seem to get the "forwardUntilNear" sample program to run with the GripperBot using the IR sensor. The Scissorbot version of the same sample program works fine but the Gripperbot one does not work for me. Am I missing something?

Hi vla7,
If you click the upper-right-most button of the in-game interface, it will enable a display of what the sonar sensor (and IR sensor if you're using a robot with one) is sensing. You'll probably find that the sonar sensor is detecting the robot's own gripper, or the ring it is holding. Try raising the arm before you start the forwardUntilNear program.
