Post VexNet neeeds help
ok i recently switched from easyC(rap) and am now the proud owner of RobotC. now im having issues with the vexnet upgrade, i might have sorta messed it up when trying to download the master firmware, and anyhow now the vex net will not pair with the controller. the controller shows solid green's and the brain is showing two red, top one bliping once in a while... any body possibly able to help.

Hi Coldedge -

I'm happy to help, but can you specify if are you using the VEXnet Upgrades (the add-on hardware for the VEX PIC and Radio Transmitter), or the VEX Cortex and VEXnet Joysticks?

In either case, we have materials produced that show the approved setup steps and troubleshooting guides, which might help you out.

VEXnet Upgrade Help: http://www.robotc.net/support/vex/#vexnet-setup-documents
Cortex + VEXnet Joystick Help: http://www.robotc.net/support/cortex/#getting-started-with-the-vex

Additional things you may want to try:
- If you're using the Cortex and VEXnet Joystick, use ROBOTC to re-update both of their firmware files before linking them
- If you're using the VEXnet upgrades, use the IFI VEXnet Upgrade Utility to update both of their firmware files before linking them: http://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/VEXnetUpgradeV1.1.7User.zip
- Make sure your system has fully charged batteries

As a first step, I would recommend downloading the VEXnet Upgrade Utility (link is in the above post), and updating both of the hardware addons
