I'm happy to help, but can you specify if are you using the VEXnet Upgrades (the add-on hardware for the VEX PIC and Radio Transmitter), or the VEX Cortex and VEXnet Joysticks?
In either case, we have materials produced that show the approved setup steps and troubleshooting guides, which might help you out.

- If you're using the Cortex and VEXnet Joystick, use ROBOTC to re-update both of their firmware files before linking them
- If you're using the VEXnet upgrades, use the IFI VEXnet Upgrade Utility to update both of their firmware files before linking them:
