 forum search needs improving!
One of the best things about these forums is there is almost always someone who has had a similar problem to you. It can be, however, quite difficult to find them! Not being able to use certain search terms (such as 'bluetooth') because they occur too frequently is ridiculous!
how can we search for 'something' as it refers to bluetooth (or one of several other categories) without returning many irrelevant posts?
Please let us determine the search criteria ourselves!

 Re: forum search needs improving!
You could use a Google search limiting your results to just these forums. In the search box, type: site:robotc.net/forums <keywords> And away you go! http://www.google.com/search?q=site:rob ... rums+mutex- Xander

Hey oli,
That's a function of phpBB in itself. One thing you can do is limit the forums that you are searching through. For example, if you are searching for Bluetooth, perhaps try only selecting the NXT Programming forum.
I will take a look to see if there are any nice plugins to improve the search in the mean time.

The google idea is a good one, thanks Mightor - I'll use that for the meantime.
It would be good to see something more robust on the in the future, thanks vnguyen.
