 Lego motor lifetimeWhat is a reasonable life time for Lego motors? My students are trying to program spin turns and sometimes one motor just stops. This does not happen when the robot is held off the floor when executing the program. The recalcitrant motor also can be easily stopped by holding it whereas the other motor seems to have lots of torque. Is there a slip clutch inside that is worn out? Or is there something else inside the morot that is not working just because of the motor's age? Dr. K
