Weird Spam

 Weird SpamWhat's up with all the weird spam lately? It's not linking to any website as far as I can tell. Are these people just trolling? Or is it a ploy to get post count up so they can spam later?

Re: Weird Spam It's a ploy to spam later AND they're smarter. I've noticed this trend a few weeks back where I let a strange (but slightly relevant) post go... only to find they edited their signature and post later to add spam. Or they go on a wild spamming rampage when we least expect it (middle of the night).

Re: Weird Spam Yeah, and updated posts don't show up as unread, so they manage to get through the cracks. If you see weird spam, just report the post and either Vu or myself will deal with it.

Re: Weird Spam Anybody notice the weird usernames of some spammers? Some of them are just plain obnoxious. I remember one was called "RobotKilla#something else I can't remember". And then when it was banned, there was a "RobotKilla#I'mBack". How dare it talk about killing robots on a forum like this!
