My envrionment:

MacBook Pro, OS X 10.7.4, running Win7 Pro (64-bit) in a Fusion 4.1.3 VM. Reliably runs ROBOTC 3.08 with an NXT platform.

My issue:

Followed the instructions for loading the Arduino drivers but update driver process loads the "Communication Port" driver instead. Arduino is recognized before the driver install. Pointing the driver location to the Drivers/Arduino folder, however, results in the following:


Then, after the update, the list of devices looks like this:

Where have I gone wrong?

Sorry about the late reply on this! I suggest attempted to uninstall/reinstall the drivers a few times. I had the same problems with a Leonardo board the other day and that was the way I fixed it. If I recall it took about 3 or 4 times before it was recognized as a Arduino board and not a standard COM port.
