I made a program that left the uart1 port on the vex cortex connected with out a delay.
So, now the computer won't establish a link with the cortex.
I put it in bootload mode with the config pin, and i can restore the master cpu firmware but not the standard file or the slave cpu.
or re-download any program.

Maybe there's a reset button, that will erase the program from the cortex so I can start over?

First, make sure you are running the latest version of ROBOTC, which can be found here: http://www.robotc.net/download/cortex/

If ROBOTC is unable to download its firmware to the CORTEX, I suggest using the VEXNet Firmware Upgrade Utility (found here on VEX's wiki) to manually restore the master firmware and user code to the VEX default. Then try downloading the ROBOTC firmware again.
