 New Lego Mindstorms EV3
So it is finally time for a new mindstorms set http://venturebeat.com/2013/01/06/lego-unleashes-new-generation-of-smart-toys-with-mindstorms-ev3-robots/can we expect RobotC for the new platform aswell? if you look at these pictures http://ces.cnet.com/2300-34435_1-10015228-1.htmlit seems like there is an gyro sensor already build in

There is no gyro built into the brick. The LEGO Education set has a gyro sensor that will also be available separately for those with the retail set.
I can't speak for Robomatter, but I would I would be surprised if there wasn't a ROBOTC version for this platform in the works soon.

Hello
I read in a forum: It all ancient languages are absolutely not work at all, it worked just as NQC with the NXT.
What about RobotC? Will it work with EV3?

I would prefer to use ROBOTC as well. That said, the new programming environment is actually quite nice  = Xander
