Post Need help with a project.... Robotic noob
Hello.
I want to build a robotic dragon that basically is animated when a motion sensor is triggered. I'm quite good with circuits and electronics in general, however I want to make a leap into robotics.

The dragon I want to make will basically move its mouth, head and wings. I thought servos will be a great idea, however I've only used them in rc set ups.

If anyone can offer a suggestion on how to do this, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What type of robotics platform were you planning on using to control the robot (LEGO Mindstorms NXT, VEX Cortex, Arduino, etc)? Depending on which platform is being used, we may be able to point you in the right direction.

This particular project, however, may be outside of the realm of this forum (depending on the specific parts being used and specific desired operation of the dragon), and you may want to post this question on another, animatronic specific forum.

So fix it, maybe?
